Witch Hat - August 30 - 1:00PM-4:00PM

We are getting ready for Halloween early. 

In this class we will work through all the steps to make a witch hat with an approximately 6.5 inch brim to use as decoration. 

You will need to bring with you:

• Worsted weight yarn in your choice of color 
• US 5 (3.75mm) needles in your preference for working in small circumferences. (Double pointed needles, magic loop) 

You must know how to knit, purl, and knit in the round.

Pattern is included with the cost of tuition.

We are happy to assist you in finding the materials for the class before class starts if you

Emilie Petty learned to knit by teaching herself from a boxed set of book and needles. Once she figured out that knitting smooth yarn was preferable to learn on, knitting became an immediate addiction. Nothing was off limits for her. She believed that taking on a new project was a chance to learn something new. 

Emilie became a part of the Quixotic Fibers Family when, after visiting the shop three days in a row and joking about working here, Curtis offered her a job. We haven’t been able to get rid of her since.

Registration and Cancellation Policies

If the minimum number of students have not signed up 3 days before the class, we will unfortunately have to cancel the class. We usually require a minimum number of students only for classes where the instructor has to travel some distance. If we have to cancel a class, you will be notified 3 days in advance and will be given a full refund.

Cancellation: There is a $2 cancellation fee. At least 3-days' notice is required for cancellation without additional charges. Cancellations with 24-72 hours' notice are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice are not refundable.
