U.S. Shipping

Orders are shipped via the US Postal Service First Class or Priority Mail services or via UPS Ground.  We offer free shipping on orders over $150. 

In most cases, orders are shipped the same day or the next business day and will arrive within 3-7 business days from the date of shipment.

If your order will take longer, we will inform you via email as soon as possible and offer you the option to cancel your order for a refund if the delay is unacceptable.  If you would prefer that we contact you via telephone, please make a note of that at checkout and be sure to provide your phone number.


International Shipping

We are in the process of reviewing our international shipping policies.  International shipping rules have become more complex in recent years and we have found that we are no longer able to ship to some countries.


Return Policy

We want you to be pleased with your purchases and our goal is to become your favorite online yarn store.  If there is anything wrong with your order, we will do everything that we can to make it right.  We cannot accept returns on special orders or hanks that have been wound, unless they are defective.  We cannot accept returns on needles and hooks, including sets.  We will, of course, replace defective ones.

We will provide a full refund, less shipping costs, for items returned within 30 days.  However, if you return more than 2 items within a one year period, we have to deduct a 15% restocking fee from your refund.

Shipping costs will not be deducted for the returns if the item is defective or if you wish to exchange it for another item.

If an item is returned from an order for which you have earned a reward certificate, the reward certificate may become invalid.  If the reward has already been redeemed, the value of the reward may be deducted from the refund.

All items must be returned in their original condition, with the labels and ties intact.

Winding Service

We will wind hanks of yarn upon request, but once a hank has been wound it cannot be returned. 

We use a high quality ball winder to wind the yarn into center pull cakes, but occasionally hanks become tangled and it is necessary for us to wind them by hand into balls.  We promise to deliver wound yarn in a usable form and we strive for perfection, but we can't guarantee that it will be in the form of perfectly formed cakes.

The winding service is only available for yarns purchased at regular price.  Unfortunately we cannot offer it for sale items.
