Casapinka Tabby Road KAL Kit - Sisters and Fairies - More Caffeine

This is a set of 10 mini skeins of Quixotic Fibers Brooks fingering weight yarn and one full skein of Brooks in a coordinating color.  Brooks is 100% organic merino wool. There are 91 yards/25 grams in each mini skein and 420 yards/4 ounces.  Total for the set is 1330 yards.

When:  The KAL starts July 31.

Where:  You can register for the KAL by purchasing the pattern on Ravelry.  At first you will get the information on the yarn and supplies needed for the shawl, and once the KAL starts, Casapinka will send the pattern out to you in separate "clues."

What:  There are 2 sizes - Average and XL. Note that if you decide to do the larger one but get tired at the end, you can revert to the Average sized design. Most of you, regardless of size, will be pretty happy with the Average Sized unless you always think our shawls are too small. You can also wait and buy a second set at the end if you still want it to be larger. There are also directions to make it a bit smaller for those who find our shawls too large.

Materials:

For the Average Sized shawl: set of 10 mini skeins and one full (400 yards or more) skein of fingering weight yarn

For the XL+ get 2 sets of mini-skeins (20 total) plus one skein of at least 400 yards of fingering.  You want a total of at least 2000 yards. Casapinka recommends getting 2 sets of the same colors.
