Beginner Hand Embroidery Project Sampler

Discover the relaxing and rewarding art of hand embroidery in this introductory class—no prior experience needed!

Join us for a fun, supportive session where you'll learn the foundational stitches while creating your very own beautiful sampler. We'll start with a dedicated practice piece to build confidence with basic techniques, then move on to a charming pre-printed sampler project featuring a delightful design.

All supplies are provided so you can focus solely on stitching and enjoyment—no need to hunt for materials or bring your own tools (except scissors, if you prefer your favorites).

 Your kit includes:

• High-quality fabric pieces (practice + main sampler)
• A variety of vibrant embroidery floss
• Embroidery hoop and needles
• Detailed handout with clear stitch diagrams, step-by-step instructions, and helpful online references for continued learning at home

What to expect:

• Saturday, March 3 from 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM (with a short lunch break )—about 4.5 hours of guided stitching time, paced perfectly for beginners to avoid fatigue
• Gentle, hands-on instruction with plenty of time for questions and personalized help
• A take-home project you can finish at your own pace, plus a reference piece to revisit stitches anytime

This class is designed to be affordable and accessible—just $40 per student. It's an ideal way to unwind, spark creativity, and leave with a finished (or nearly finished) piece you'll be proud to display or gift!

There is a 10% discount on purchases made on the day of the class.

Registration and Cancellation Policies:

If the minimum number of students have not signed up 3 days before the class, we will unfortunately have to cancel the class. We usually require a minimum number of students only for classes where the instructor has to travel some distance. If we have to cancel a class, you will be notified 3 days in advance and will be given a full refund.

Cancellation: There is a $2 cancellation fee. At least 3 days' notice is required for cancellation without additional charges. Cancellations with 24-72 hours' notice are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are not refundable.
