Cobweb Lace is a 1-ply yarn which is woollen spun and traditionally used to make Shetland lace scarves, stoles and Christening robes.

This yarn has a crisp feel once washed and has excellent stitch definition.

50% lambswool, 50% real Shetland wool

28 stitches and 44 rows over 4 inches using 3mm needles in stockinette

The best yarn there ever was or will be. I can hear one of my ancient Scottish shepherdess ancestors yelling YAY whenever I crochet with this stuff. It’s nice to have an experience that transcends space and time without any adverse medical effects. Huzzah for Shetland wool!
