A series of 8 colors (4 for the short skirt) is accented with a playful black and white checkered band, which is pulled into zig-zags by the chevron stitch. Skirt is worked in two pieces with an elastic waistband worked circularly after seaming. There is plenty of yarn left over for a matching tee or wrap.
