Knitted Knockers

Quixotic Fibers Florida is proud to be a collection point for Knitted Knockers!

Knitted Knockers are knit (and crochet) breasts used by women who have had a mastectomy.  There are specific patterns, yarns and colors that are accepted and Quixotic Fibers has Cascade Ultra Pima Fine Sport Weight Cotton in several appropriate colors.

The Knitted Knockers organization gets the most requests for pairs of neutral colors sizes B and larger.  Due to the huge demand of these courageous women, there is particular need for pairs of light neutral colors in sizes D and DD.

Cascade Ultra Pima Fine is a sport weight knitting yarn that is softer than other cotton yarns and does not feel stiff.  It is also machine washable for easy care.
