Many of you who like to dye your own yarns have asked about some of the yarn bases that I use for our hand dyed yarns, particularly the Quixotic Exotic Merino/Cashmere/Silk blend.
I've just added a collection of undyed yarns to our online catalog, including some of our regular bases, as well as some fine yarns from one of our favorite US mills: Kraemer.
There is also a value-priced merino/nylon sock yarn from Universal Yarns that is a great starter yarn for hand-dyeing.
