Summer is officially here in Texas. Temperatures already feel like it's hotter than 100 degrees. Phew! That means it's time for some summer time knitting and crocheting.
Quince and Co. Kestrel is a wonderful linen yarn with a chain construction, making it a lightweight, summer friendly yarn.
Emilie knit this Tulip Guernsey summer top for a class she taught last summer using Kestrel. She used the Senza color for hers and it has held up wonderfully and grows more comfortable with every wear. Her students all completed their tops and one loved the yarn so much that she made a second in another color.
Carla has fallen in love with Yumiko Alexander's Ginkgo crochet top and was so happy to find out that the Kestrel will be the perfect weight yarn for it.
