The Bullfrog is a 16-ounce wheel designed for spinners who want both power and portability. Weighing in at about 14 pounds, the Bullfrog folds to the side, making it perfect for taking around town--to fiber festivals, the park, or out on the back porch.
The Bullfrog is smooth, quiet (not a ribbit to be heard!) and spins beautifully. It comes with a 16-ounce flyer that can also use 8-ounce bobbins, providing options for both spinning singles and plying. The unique treadle design has a deeper, more powerful motion that art yarn spinners love.
One detail that we really appreciate on the SpinOlution bobbins is the clip that you slide your leader under; no more trying to grab a spinning leader.
