Please join us for this patriotic shawlette workshop. We will be meeting around the table in the shop for knitting and crocheting. The patterns for each version are free on Ravelry. You can find the knit version here and the crochet version here.

Instructor: Emilie Petty and Karen Mauldin

Emilie Petty learned to knit by teaching herself from a boxed set of book and needles. Once she figured out that knitting smooth yarn was preferable for learning, knitting became an immediate addiction. Nothing was out of limits for her. She believed that taking on a new project was a chance to learn something new.

Emilie became a part of the Quixotic Fibers Family when, after visiting the shop three days in a row and joking about working, Curtis offered her a job. We haven’t been able to get rid of her since.

 Karen Mauldin, a left handed crocheter, can crochet anything, usually without a pattern! She joined the Quixotic Team in 2023 and has been a vital key in our crochet game ever since.
