Aeque (Latin for equally) is a pretty gradient cowl designed to mimic the look of an asymmetrical triangular shawl wrapped around the neck. Beginning with one stitch, Aeque is worked flat from side to side in Stockinette stitch with a simple stripe sequence that blends together 5 colors of fingering weight yarn. One little seam up the back joins it together. Aeque is a fun and quick knit that is perfect for using up small amounts of fingering weight yarn, such as Wonderland Yarns' Cheshire Cat mini-skein packs. Go pastel, monochromatic, or bold, your Aeque is sure to look great!
