Tuesday, October 27 - 7:00-8:30PM (Central Time)
Lecture format: instructor will be demonstrating only.
Have you ever wanted to work a sleeve without seaming? In this demonstration-only class, we will present the history of seamless knitting and give you the framework, math and information needed to work a perfectly fitting set-in sleeve with a short-row sleeve cap in the round. Instructional digital handout included.
Prerequisites: familiarity with garment construction, short rows, and working small circumferences in the round.
No materials or homework.
2 student minimum
Instructor: Sarah Walworth
Sarah first learned to knit as a child from her mom, but re-learned as an adult when she needed a way to keep her hands busy. It quickly cascaded into re-writing patterns to fit her, learning innovative techniques, and trying all different ways to tension the yarn. She now makes her living as a knitting technical editor and loves to pass on the craft to whomever she can get to hold needles and yarn for a few minutes.
