Sunday February 17, 1:00-3:00pm
This class focuses on using popcorn and post stitches to create a scarf with a 3-dimensional appearance. If you know how to make double and treble crochet stitches, and can work into the front and back loops, then this class will be easy-going and fun.
(Note: These are two of the stitches that you need to know in order to take Molly's Magnificent Mandela Motif 2.0 class at DFW Fiber Fest in April.)
Level: Advanced Beginner
- 600-700 yards of solid, smooth, sport, dk or worsted weight yarn
(Please note that using extremely light or dark colored yarns will subdue the texture of the popcorn and post stiches.)
- Appropriate hook size to match the weight of the yarn
- Basic crochet tools
Minimum # Students: 4
Instructor: Molly Andries
Molly Andries is a certified crochet instructor and past president the Crochet Texas! Guild. She was one of the founders of DFW Fiber Fest and is a frequent teacher at that event.
