Learn how to crochet with metal wire as you make a circle pendant.
This class will cover the following:
- Tools and materials for metal crochet
- Chain and single crochet in metal
- Crocheting a flat circle
- Finishing metal crochet
The following materials are included:
- 30 gauge copper wire
- Scriber tool
- Printed instructions with photographs
- Copper jumprings
- Necklace cord
Required Supplies to bring:
- Steel crochet hooks sizes 1.65mm to 1.30mm (US 7-10)
Recommended to bring:
- Magnification tool, such as reading glasses
- Small wire cutters and needle nose pliers if you have them
Knowledge of basic crochet including chain stitch, slip stitch, and single crochet.

Instructor: Anne Jones
Anne Jones is a metalsmith and jewelry artist based in Denton, Texas. She started crocheting nearly 20 years ago as a distraction from the stress of metalworking. Then she brought the metalwork and the crochet together and it was as great a combination as peanut butter and chocolate.
Registration and Cancellation Policies

If the minimum number of students have not signed up 3 days before the class, we will unfortunately have to cancel the class. We usually require a minimum number of students only for classes where the instructor has to travel some distance. If we have to cancel a class, you will be notified 3 days in advance and will be given a full refund.
Cancellation: There is a $2 cancellation fee. At least a 3-day notice is required for cancellation without additional charges. Cancellations with 24-72 hour notice are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice are not refundable.
