This will be a very basic introduction to the natural dye indigo. This will be a dye bath for protein fibers (wool, alpaca, yak, silk, etc). You can bring your own skeins of yarn to dye, or can purchase them in the shop (prices start at $6). Learning to use natural dyes came next, and a few years later came dyeing with fiber reactive dyes. She and her husband John have had a booth at the Taos Wool Festival for 17 years where they sell their hand-painted yarns and roving along with natural dyed yarns. Laura has also served on the TWF board for 8 years. We usually require a minimum number of students only for classes where the instructor has to travel some distance. If we have to cancel a class, you will be notified 3 days in advance and will be given a full refund.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCancellation: There is a $2 cancellation fee. At least a 3-day notice is required for cancellation without additional charges. Cancellations with 24-72 hour notice are eligible for a 50% refund.
