Golden Hour Shawl Kit - Quixotic NolanQuixotic Fibers
Andrea Mowry's Golden Hour shawl pattern is a delight to knit in thick worsted weight merino. With three colors and lots of texture, including eyelets, bobbles, and mosaic colorwork, it holds your interest from start to finish.
Carla used one of her favorite color combinations in the Quixotic Nolan yarn, which is our organic 100% merino base. Milled in North America and dyed here in Whitesboro, Texas, this is a squishy, non-superwash worsted weight yarn.
Although the pattern calls for 220 yards each of the three colors, many knitters have needed more of one or more of the colors when making it. Carla knit this twice on different size needles and ran out of at least two colors both times, so our kit includes an extra 1 oz mini-cake of each color to ensure that you don't run out of yarn.
The pattern can be purchased directly from the designer on ravelry, or choose the pattern option here and we will send you a professionally printed copy of the pattern on cardstock that includes a ravelry download code for the PDF version.
