Foliage Sweater Yarn Pack (Strands of Joy) - Brooks

Foliage is another one of the lovely sweater patterns in Anna Johanna's book, Strands of Joy.

Knit in a fingering weight yarn, Foliage is worked top-down seamlessly. The sweater has a round yoke with a fun leaf pattern which repeats at the cuffs. The corrugated ribbing at the neckline and cuffs gives a neat finishing touch.

This sweater is meant to be worn with positive ease. Choose a size with approx. 3" / 8 cm positive ease at bust circumference.

The yarn used for the original sweater was a wool/mohair blend, which is wonderful for colder climates, but not as comfortable here in the southern US.

This yarn pack contains Brooks, our own non-superwash organic 100% merino fingering weight yarn, hand dyed at our shop in Whitesboro, Texas. Brooks comes in 4 oz skeins of 420 yards.

Each kit contains enough yarn to knit the sizes in the selected size range. (See the table below for the sizes.) The pattern is available in the book, which can be purchased separately.

Also required, but not included:

• US #4 (3.5mm) circular needles. 40" is recommended for the bust. You will also need smaller needles or DPNs in the same size for the sleeves.
• 4 stitch markers
