Instructor: Linda Johnson
Linda Johnson is a spinner, weaver, and knitter. She became interested in the whole process of creating from fiber as a young girl listening to a story about a mother who gleamed the wool from the brambles, dyed it with indigo, and wove the fabric for a dress. Linda learned to knit on a knitting machine, and then took what she had learned and applied it to hand knitting. This gives her a unique perspective on the knitting process. She had a custom design knitting shop for several years in Fort Worth and has been a judge at the Taos Wool Festival.
